1/4 Thaler    (sold for $2350.0)

Bavaria. Karl Albrecht 1/4 Taler 1740, KM#446, MS64 NGC, a superb coin with rich silvery-gray and purple patina over fully lustrous surfaces. The obverse features conjoined busts of Karl Albrecht and Karl III Philip of Pfalz. An elusive one-year type and this is certainly among the finest extant.
