1 Dollar    (sold for $3000.0)

1802 B-6, BB-241 Close Date Rarity 1. PCGS graded VF-30. Subset of PCGS # 40087. In a new secure plus holder. This is a shimmering, silver-colored specimen with some colorful accents hugging the rim, possibly pointing to long storage in one of those old Wayte Raymond folders that were around in the 1940s. The slightly light strike is still impressive for the series and both sides are typically smooth for the grade, given Dr. Hís penchant for cherrypicking only the best specimens. A tip of the hat to our consignor, he deserves many (PCGS # 40088) . Estimated Value $4,000-UP. The Dr. Hesselgesser Collection. Categories: The Dr. Hesselgesser Collection of Bust Dollars
