1851 N-12 R1 MS64+. Lustrous mint red fading to steel brown on the devices with more than half the original red remaining on both sides. The only mark is a small spot of dark steel toning in the dentils at star 1. Otherwise this cent is a gem. LDS, die state d. The die lines and points at the inner curl are gone (Newcomb's old #11).
